Strip Wax

The waxing process involves a warm layer of wax being spread across the skin. A strip of cloth is then placed on top of the wax – bonding to the hair. When the strip is quickly pulled, the hair and any dead skin cells are removed – resulting in an extremely smooth skin area. Waxing isn’t painful if carried out correctly and our expert team are extremely experienced at giving efficient and careful treatments.

Hot Wax

Hot wax is spread thickly onto the skin and allowed to dry slightly before it is gently peeled away. This method is far less painful than most and pulls hair directly from the roots. The benefits include fewer in-grown hairs, less breakage and therefore longer re-growth periods. This wax also promotes skin hydration and is highly recommended for sensitive areas.

How long does waxing last?

What is the difference between hot wax and strip wax?

How should I prepare for a waxing appointment?

Ensure the hair is at least 1/4 inch long. Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and exfoliating treatments 24 hours before your appointment. Do not apply lotions, oils, or creams to the area to be waxed on the day of your appointment.

What should I do after waxing? (Post treatment advice)

To prevent irritation avoid sun exposure, hot baths or hot showers, and tight clothing for 24 hours.

Avoid exfoliating, skin treatments, and swimming pools for 48 hours.

Use a gentle moisturizer to soothe the skin.

Are there any side effects?

Waxing can cause temporary redness, swelling, and irritation.

Bruising may occur, especially in sensitive areas or if you have delicate skin.

Ingrown hairs are a common side effect and can be minimized with proper aftercare.
